BOWLING

My family consists of my mother Aminta Narvaez, my Dad Wilson Vargas, and my brother German Vargas. We are from Colombia. My mom was a civil Lawyer in Colombia and my Dad worked for the government for customs. My Brother is a Physicist with PhD in Math and he is currently working for the Math Department at the College of Coastal Georgia. My parents emigrated to United States of America because their lives were in danger and are now residents of the state of Florida.

In my family we are all Bowing players. Everyone in my family has been a bowling Champion. In the World Cup of Bowling in Abu Dhabi in 2000, my Dad and I were part of the National Team Colombia during this important competition; and I also had won a tournament with my mom bowling double events in Aruba Open in 1994.

I have been bowling since I was 5 Years old. At age of 9 the bowling federation of Colombia had to open a new division for kids under 10 in the National Championships for me to be eligible to bowl, and I became National Champion at the age of 10 in the Youth division for kids under 12 years old in the Year 1986.

From 1986 -1995 I bowled Youth Bowling National Championships and won several medals.
